After a little more than 24 hours of clicking (still hadn’t filled up a 32gb card) I took the camera out to see if it would still work.
After about an hour the noise started driving me crazy so I put the camera between some large pillows so the noise wasn’t so loud. I hooked up the AC adaptor and my cable release and put the camera in high speed drive mode set to the smallest jpeg that it would take and let it start clicking. A while back I decided to see how many clicks the camera can get (after being told by a couple of camera dealers that they weren’t interested in buying it at any price because it was already quite worn and well used). In theory this would work but I can tell you that my first-hand experience with an old EOS 30D didn’t play out like that.
